A Lake Country home has topped the list of the 100 most expensive homes in the Thompson Okanagan region.
Located at 12990 Pixton Rd., the home has an assessed value of $17.336 million.
According to BC Assessments, the home was built in 2009 and has five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It sits on .86 acres and is just over 19,000 square feet.
Although it has been assessed as the most expensive home in the Thompson Okanagan region, it was only ranked as number 156 on the Top 500 most expensive homes in the province.
Last year the Thompson Okanagan region’s most expensive home was located at 4358 Hobson Road in Kelowna. It was assessed at $14.048 million in early 2022, according to BC Assessments.
This year, the house on Hobson Road is the second most expensive home in the Okanagan with a value of $14.645 million.
About 24 homes in the Thompson Okanagan region have a value of over $10 million with a majority of all homes in Lake Country, Kelowna or West Kelowna.
There is one exception with a home worth $12.2 million in Coldstream.
In fact, most of the homes on the Top 100 list are within the Okanagan region with only one Shuswap home cracking the list at number 45. The Tappen home is valued at $8.5 million.

As for the most expensive home in BC, it continues to be a home at 3085 Point Grey Rd. in Vancouver. According to the Top 500 Valued Residential Properties list, the massive home is valued at $74.08 million
Last year, it snagged the top spot with a value of $73.147 million.
