For a third consecutive year, a stunning mansion that sits on 0.86 acres in Lake Country is the most valuable property in the BC Interior.
According to new data from BC Assessment, based on market values as of July 1, 2024, the property at 12990 Pixton Rd. is worth a whopping $15.656 million.
That is, however, down over $1 million from last year’s valuation of $16.987 million.
While this property being the most valuable in the BC Interior is nothing new, what has changed in the last year is the ownership.
Twelve months ago, this one-of-a-kind home was on the market for a hair under $19 million and it ended up selling for $16 million on June 20, 2024.
Dubbed Villa Vista Le Lago, the lavish Tuscan mansion on the shores of Okanagan Lake features five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms in the main home, along with a two-bed, one-bath guest house.
It also has a spacious 12-car garage, infinity pool, hot tub, gym, beachside fire pit, outdoor kitchen, movie theatre and plenty more.
Not only is the top spot on this list the same for a third straight year, the entire top four on BC Assessment’s list is a repeat of 2023 and 2022.
The Pixton Road estate is followed by 4358 Hobson Rd. in Kelowna ($14.368 million), 18250 Juniper Cove Rd. in Lake Country ($13.451 million) and 4364 Hobson Rd. in Kelowna ($13.261 million).
Looking province-wide, the most valuable BC Interior properties don’t even crack the top 200.
In fact, the Pixton Road property is all the way down at 239th this year, while lululemon founder Chip Wilson’s Vancouver mansion at 3085 Point Grey Rd. tops the list with a value of $82.664 million.
