No, this is not the Jurassic Fest that’s been reported to be a scam, this is Jurassic Quest.
It’s very much real and it’s coming to the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton from May 27-29.
Jurassic Quest claims to be the largest and most realistic dinosaur exhibit in North America and their herd of photorealistic dinosaurs will take over the SOEC for one weekend only.
It’s the first trip to Canada for the exhibit since 2019, which also happened to be the first time it made it north of the 49th parallel.
The experience includes life-like dinosaurs, dinosaur rides, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, bounce houses, inflatable attractions and much more.
Families can walk through exhibits of different eras to see and learn about what dinosaurs ruled when and the bravest of kids can even come face to face with the largest apex predator that ever existed – a moving, life-size, 15-metre-long Megalodon.
There is plenty to do and see at Jurassic Quest, which has been around since 2013, and that includes a brand new addition for 2022 called “The Quest.”
“The Quest is an interactive adventure where guests will meet dinos and prehistoric sea creatures, take a unique Dino Snap, search for fossils, watch a live Raptor Training Experience and more,” a release explains.
