PHOTOS: Lightning strikes across the Interior

Communities throughout the BC Interior were treated to a show Friday night.

Regional thunderstorms resulted in numerous lightning strikes in the Shuswap, Okanagan, Thompson, and more. Photographers used this as an opportunity to snap up some very interesting shots.

Beautiful, loud, lightning and thunder storm tonight in #KamloopsBC. Blacked out the sky and gave us a good show for about an hour, including one big house-rumbler. Wish the phone took better night video. Make sure you watch with sound on for the first part and don't mind the neighbour's kid yelling.
