There are now roughly 1,300 evacuees in Prince George.
The City has begun collaborating with other communities such as Williams Lake, Quesnel and Fort St. John, to increase accommodation options.

Although the Emergency Reception Centre in Prince George has expanded operating hours from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. long lines should be expected.
Registration will provide evacuees with access to various supports and services such as accommodation and food. According to the city, more than $200,000 in food vouchers have already been distributed from the reception centre.
The City is currently looking for more volunteers who can assist in registering evacuees. Those who wish to help can register online.
