A $10,000 reward has been offered for the safe return of a much-loved Vancouver crow.
Canuck, who is considered something of an ambassador for the city, went missing on Aug. 30.
Shawn Bergman, who calls himself Canuck’s best friend, posted the reward on Tuesday.
He said Canuck’s mate, Cassiar, has been calling for the charismatic crow but without success.
Canuck can be identified by the bands tied around his legs, one of which explains that he is a federally protected bird.
The crow became famous across Canada – and went viral around the world – when he stole a knife from a crime scene in Vancouver in 2016.
Bergman said that on Monday he and others held a “little impromptu candlelight vigil” for Canuck.
