Crash on the TransCanada Leads to Drug Seizure

A collision on the TransCanada Highway has resulted in a significant drug bust by Revelstoke RCMP.

On Tuesday, November 17^th, RCMP was conducting an investigation into a serious, fatal collision when they discovered a large quantity of marijuana in a tractor trailer power unit. According to RCMP, approximately 160 pounds of marijuana was found in the truck.

Police say the drugs were being transported eastbound through the Revelstoke area via the TransCanada highway. The investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made.
