A BC Ferries vessel is up for sale and it’ll cost you about the same as a house would in Kamloops.
The Queen of Burnaby is up for auction through Wednesday at noon with a starting price of $400,000.
The ship was built in 1965 and has served the Powell River - Comox route for a number of years.
It’s 130 metres long, 4,556 tonnes and can hold 168 cars along with 904 passengers.
The boat makes 54 sailings, covering 918 nautical miles, per week and will be in service until it’s replaced in April.
Also featured on the Queen of Burnaby, like most other BC Ferry vessels, is a cafe, gift shop, kids zone, full kitchen, several lounges and a number of accessible washrooms.
The vessel is listed for sale on www.govdeals.com.
