A quarter-million rapid antigen tests are being sent to child care providers across British Columbia.
The take-home tests will be delivered by the province to government-funded child care facilities through the mail.
The province explains that the rapid tests are an additional tool that can be used to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 in child care facilities.
More information about when the tests will arrive will be provided in the coming days.
The Ministry of Children and Family Development will be hosting a virtual information session tonight (Jan. 26) from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
