Kim's Note: This region included in my Alaska Earthquake Forecast. Please read my notes on EARTHQUAKE ALERT ALASKA posted moments ago. Most likely quake dates; 1/24-2/2/18
The first quake was a magnitude-4.2 tremor that struck just before 11 a.m. on Sunday.
It was followed up by a magnitude-4.3 earthquake around 20 minutes later, just after 11 a.m.
Just over an hour later, the trifecta was completed by a magnitude-4.0 quake, the closest of the three by two kilometres.
All three tremors had a depth of just 10 km, but were not close enough to land to cause any damage.
