Additional charges have been laid against the man accused of driving his car into a crowd at Vancouver’s Filipino Lapu Lapu Festival in April.
On Tuesday, the Vancouver Police Department said three additional charges were laid against Adam Kai-Ji Lo, bringing the total number to 11.
The mass casualty happened on April 26 and killed 11 people and injured dozens more.
The victims ranged in age from five to 65.
Lo, 30, was initially charged with eight counts of second-degree murder on April 27.
The BC Prosecution Service approved the additional charges following a review of evidence submitted by Vancouver Police Homicide investigators, a news release said.
In a recent update, Lo is due back in court on July 23 for a fitness hearing.
