BC RCMP seek leads, suspect in nearly 30-year-old triple murder case

The BC RCMP are appealing for information on a nearly 30-year-old cold case involving the murder of three young adults in Northern BC.

Kevin Louis Vermette is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant and is “believed” to be responsible for the triple murder of three young adults in Kitimat on July 12, 1997.

A news release from the RCMP says Vermette’s appearance is expected to have changed “significantly” over the past 27 years.
