It’s BC SPCA 50/50 season and this year’s lottery will feature its biggest prize ever.
The BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need is now open and tickets are available for $15 each, three for $40 or six for $60.
The final sales deadline is midnight on Sept. 28, but tickets will likely be long gone before then.
“Last year the 50/50 sold out early and likely will again,” says Alina Wilson, BC SPCA senior officer, digital giving.
“With tickets starting at just $15, it’s a fun and easy way for caring people across BC to help animals – and possibly win a life-changing prize!”
Every ticket purchased in the BC SPCA Lottery will contribute funds to support vulnerable animals and it’s what drove a recent winner, Elizabeth, to participate.
“While the stories of hurt, abandoned and exploited animals break my heart,” she explained. “I am comforted to know that there is help for them.”
