Sometimes you just need to play like you’re a kid again.
That was the case for a group of grown men who got into a heated nerf gun battle in Delta this week.
They were having so much fun that they didn’t realize it was 2 am and they were being a little bit loud for the middle of the night.
A neighbour called the Delta Police Department at 2:07 am, saying “they’re arguing, they’re threatening to shoot each other.”
When officers arrived on scene, they found the men fully engaged in a nerf gun battle.

Police - Arrive on scene to a gun battle.
…a Nerf gun battle. One man received a minor welt. The 4 combatants were utterly unaware of the time and noise levels.#Delta, where big calls get small. pic.twitter.com/U72iK582gx
“One man received a minor welt,” said a tweet from the DPD. “The four combatants were utterly unaware of the time and noise levels.”
Obviously no arrests were made, but the men may be in the doghouse with a very tired neighbour.
