Visitors to Canada are quite taken with the numerous viewpoints in BC, according to a ranking done by Remitly.
Out of the list of 30, BC took 10 spots. With our stunning coastlines and mountains, there’s no shortage of viewpoints to go and fully appreciate beautiful British Columbia.
Remitly analyzed over 483,000 tourist reviews of landmarks and lookouts to build the ranking across Canada.
“Scenic trails stole the spotlight, with over half of the top 30 views found on walks, hikes and lookouts – outshining city and town panoramas,” said the company.
The highest ranked BC spot was Mount Maxwell Provincial Park on Salt Spring Island.
The island is famous for Baynes Peak, the highest point on the island. It allows you to see Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and even the mainland on a clear day.
Other spots included Mount Tolmie Park, Soames Hill, the Malahat Skywalk, Burnaby Mountain Park, Mount Douglas Park, Quarry Rock Hike, Cypress Provincial Park, Stewamus Chief Park and the Sea to Sky Gondola.
