More like wings up.
While the Canada vs USA rhetoric has certainly fizzled a bit in recent weeks, one Canada goose on Vancouver Island did not get the message.
The BC Wildfire Federation’s Watershed Team (BCWFWT) shared an incredible image from one of its wetland restoration sites on private land on Pender Island.
One of the environmental conservation organization’s wildlife cameras caught the incredible moment that a Canada goose chased off a bald eagle.
A post from the BCWFWT called it “just one example of the rich (and sometimes dramatic) wildlife interactions that restored wetlands can support!”
Through collaboration with conservation organizations and First Nations across British Columbia, the BCWFWT’s mission is to protect watersheds and provide on-the-ground restoration, monitoring, maintenance and education.
