Diljit Dosanjh to play BC Place, expected to be largest ever Punjabi show outside India

A new show at BC Place was announced this morning, but it’s not The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift or Coldplay.

Global Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh will be bringing his Dil-Luminati Tour to Vancouver on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

He’s previously sold out Rogers Arena and is now taking his production to a venue that is three times the size, which could make history.

Dosanjh’s show at BC Place is expected to be the largest Punjabi show outside of India and he’ll be the first Punjabi artist to ever perform at the venue.

Earlier this year, Dosanjh became the first Punjabi-speaking artist to perform at Coachella and is fresh off the Australian and New Zealand legs of the Born to Shine Tour.

With 13 studio albums released over the course of his career, he has established himself as a global star with plenty of reach outside his home country of India.

Tickets for the all-ages show will go on sale Friday, Dec. 1, at 10 am through Live Nation and they start at just $35.
