Police are looking for witnesses after a motorcycle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway over the weekend.
According to the BC Highway Patrol (BCHP), the incident happened near 256 Street in Langley around 1:50 pm Saturday.
A grey Harley Davidson motorcycle lost control and crashed in the eastbound passing lane of the highway that is currently under construction.

The BCHP says it appears as though the Harley was the only vehicle involved in the crash and the rider, a 46-year-old Vancouver man, was seriously injured.
“In order to fully understand how this crash happened, we need to see more dash camera video and speak to witnesses who saw the minutes leading up to the collision,” said Cpl. Michael McLaughlin.
Anyone who witnessed the crash while travelling through the area of Saturday, or motorists with relevant dash cam footage of the motorcycle’s driving behaviour in the lead up to the crash, are asked to call the BCHP’s Burnaby branch at 604-526-9744.
