She may not dominate the radio like she once did, but Katy Perry is still one of the best-known popstars on the planet.
In September, she released her seventh studio album 143 and she’ll hit the road next year in support of that record.
Her massive world tour starts with several shows in Mexico and then heads to Australia, but leg three is a cross-Canada adventure that kicks off with a shot in British Columbia.
She’ll take over Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Tuesday, July 22.
While the 40-year-old California product will certainly be playing a few tunes from her new record, fans will also be treated to some of her classics.
That includes hits like “I Kissed a Girl,” “Hot n Cold,” “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “Dark Horse,” “Roar” and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).”
One of the biggest-selling female artists of our time, Perry has racked up a cumulative 115-billion streams alongside worldwide sales of over 70-million adjusted albums and 143-million tracks.
Tickets to see her in Vancouver or anywhere else in Canada go on sale through Live Nation at 10 am on Friday, Nov. 29.
