Man in 20s dies after Sea-to-Sky crash

A man has died after a single-vehicle crash on the Sea-to-Sky Highway.

It happened at about noon on Monday at the Gonzales Creek Bridge, about three kilometres south of Shannon Falls.

The man, who was from the Lower Mainland and in his 20s, was flown to hospital in Vancouver but later died.

Squamish RCMP and the Integrated Collision Analyst and Reconstructionist Services are investigating the cause of the crash.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle, a newer black BMW Coupe, travelling northbound before the collision to contact the Squamish detachment at 604-892-6100.
