A massive 11,000 square foot lakeside log home built by the same team featured on the show Timber Kings has recently been listed for sale.
The Williston Lake Resort, located “in the foothills of the Northern Rocky Mountains,” has been listed by Vancouver-based Colliers International for $1,980,000.
The stunning 11,000 square foot lodge was built by Pioneer Log Homes, which have been shown on HGTV’s Timber Kings.
“Its hand hewn pine logs showcase the wood’s natural beauty. The lodge could be considered both a feat of engineering and a work of art,” says the resort’s website.
Colliers describes it as a year-round tourism operation located on more than 100 acres of pristine lakeside property.
The lodge can accommodate up to 28 people and also has a restaurant that can seat 26, a conference room for 40, library, great room, sundeck and much more.
According to the resort's website, the property has a 17-site RV park and campground, various outbuildings and offers activities and amenities like horseback riding and guided fishing trips.
The resort currently offer canoe tours, hiking excursions, wildlife viewing tours, snowshoeing, ice fishing and snowmobile tours.
Located far away enough from any local towns, the website boasts that visitors will get a chance to see nearly every type of wildlife they can imagine including eagles, beavers, elk, deer, coyotes, moose and even bears.
“The resort operates on an annual basis and caters to both tourists during the summer and winter months, and also to work crews for short to medium term accommodation (typically BC Hydro during the winter),” says the listing.
“Fully equipped, the resort can be easily managed with a couple, in addition to two to five staff depending on the season.”
The impressive log home is located less than a 20 minute drive from Hudson’s Hope or a 90 minute drive from Fort St. John.
