The incredible work of North Shore Rescue (NSR) will once again be featured in documentary form this year.
The high-profile volunteer search and rescue organization confirmed today that a second season of ‘Search and Rescue: North Shore’ will arrive in the spring.
It will be season two of the series, as the Knowledge Network debuted the five-episode docu-series on NSR back in the fall of 2020.
Little details are known about the upcoming second season of the show, but it’s expected to be similar to what we saw in the first five episodes.
The Knowledge Network docu-series was created by Peg Leg Films, an independent production company, and offered viewers unprecedented access to NSR’s life-saving work.
For season one, production crews were embedded with the NSR team for a full year and remained on call 24/7, capturing daring helicopter mountain rescues, the retrieval of lost hikers and plenty more.
It was the same story for season two and there will surely be some fascinating stories shared when the new episodes drop in the coming months.
If you missed out on season one of ‘Search and Rescue: North Shore’, or simply want to watch them again before the new season arrives, you can watch them all for free online.
NSR is Canada's busiest volunteer search and rescue organization, made up of highly-skilled members who are tasked with finding and rescuing people in distress in the rugged mountains, canyons and forests north of Vancouver.
