No, it’s not a scene from The Birth of a Nation.
It’s a still from a security camera showing what police allege was a theft at a British Columbia seniors’ care home.
New Westminster Police Department said the footage, which shows two suspects covered in sheets, was recorded on Aug. 9 at a property in the city’s Colborne Street.
The building was “ransacked,” police said, with “electronic music equipment abandoned on the street outside.”
One of the suspects is described as a man aged about 30 with brown hair and a tattoo sleeve on his right arm.
The other is described as a woman aged about 30 with shoulder-length blonde hair.

“These seniors use this equipment to make music together,” said Communications Officer Hailey Finnigan.
“We’re thankful a lot of it was recovered, but to think it was targeted in the first place is a real low. If you know who these two people are, please call us.”
Their number is 604-525-5411.
