The Chicks are bringing their world tour to BC, Maren Morris to open

After a successful US tour last summer, The Chicks are hitting the road again in 2023.

The 13-time Grammy winning trio announced their return to the global stage this morning in the form of a 37-date tour.

The Chicks World Tour 2023 will kick off in Oslo, Norway on June 20 and eventually make its way to our neck of the woods in September.

The group formerly known as The Dixie Chicks will play a show at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

It will be followed up by Canadian dates in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Ottawa, London and Toronto.

Maren Morris is tabbed as the opening act for all of The Chicks’ Canadian shows.

“North America! Thank you to all our fans for making last Summer so fun,” said a statement from The Chicks. “We look forward to returning to the road and bringing the show to fans in new cities across the US and Canada!”

Tickets for the Canadian tour dates will go on sale at 10 am local time on Friday, Feb. 17.
