The BC Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure is getting into the holiday spirit by creating a spin-off on some classic holiday songs.
Lyrics were modified to remind folks of popular travel information resources like DriveBC, before hitting the icy roads.
The popular song Jingle Bells was re-done as the ‘TranBC Edition’.
“Dashing through the snow, with a maintenance contractor plow, over the highways we go, clearing all the way. Horns on plows might ring’, making highways clear, what fun it is to salt and spray a plowing song tonight”
“Jingle Bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to clear a snowy BC Highway. Jingle Bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way; oh what fun it is to plow and get you safely on your way.”
Some holiday cheer and sing-alongs, with lyrics by @TranBC to promote winter safety.

The hilarious renditions of Christmas songs didn't stop there, with ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like BC Winter’, which encourages people to check highway webcams and put on winter tires.
The final song sung to the tune of “Let it Snow” is titled ‘Know Before you Go! Before you GO!‘, and reminds individuals to check DriveBC and stay informed on what road conditions might look like ‘Before you GO’.
