Triple O’s going back to 90s burger prices to celebrate 25-year anniversary

It was 25 years ago that White Spot opened its very first Triple O’s location on Robson Street in downtown Vancouver.

Much like White Spot restaurants are an institution in British Columbia, Triple O’s has become a popular option for a quick burger throughout the province.

To celebrate a quarter of a century in business, Triple O’s will be rolling back the clock for one day only.

On Tuesday, the Original burger will be available for just $3.49, which is what it cost on opening day at the Robson Street location in 1997.

“From the day our first restaurant opened in 1997, the community has embraced Triple O’s,” said Warren Erhart, president of White Spot and Triple O's.

“We’re beyond grateful for the loyalty and support over 25 years from our partners, guests, suppliers, team members, and franchisees. Here’s to the next 25!”

As an added bonus, 50 cents from each Original Burger sold that day will be donated to Food Banks BC.

The provincial association of food banks supports 105 hunger-relief agencies throughout BC.

So pencil in a pit stop at Triple O’s on Tuesday and celebrate a BC favourite with a tasty burger for a couple of toonies, a coin that was only a year old when those 1997 prices existed.
