If you’re a fan of the forest night walk and light show that Whistler puts on every summer, you’ll be thrilled to hear that a new experience is debuting this year.
Opening Nov. 28, 2019, Vallea Lumina will enchant visitors with a winter night walk, complete with dazzling lights, emotive soundscapes and stunning scenography.
Located in a lush forest setting, Vallea Lumina takes place just 10 minutes from Whistler Village at Cougar Mountain.
Guests reach the night walk via complimentary shuttle, and are immediately immersed into “charming storytelling in a breathtaking environment.”
Throughout the one hour adventure, visitors follow in the footsteps of two long-ago hikers, Leonard and Gloria, who are seeking a “mystical hidden valley where stardust falls from the sky.”
As guests move through the experience, there are opportunities to touch, play and engage with the ever-changing environment.
As with Vallea Lumina's summer experience, guests can enjoy cozy non-alcoholic refreshments and snacks at base camp prior to entering the show.
Admission to Vallea Lumina is $29.99 per adult, and $24.99 per youth. Tickets include complimentary shuttle between Whistler Village and the Cougar Mountain. The winter series will run nightly from Nov. 28, 2019 to April 2020.
If you can’t wait to Whistler to experience the magical light show, you can catch the summer experience until October 13.
