The snow isn’t quite finished yet.
Environment Canada has issued a special statement warning of rough weather along the Coquihalla Highway and Hwy 3 via Allison Pass.
It said reduced visibility is expected due to trace amounts of snow.
“An upper trough of low pressure will bring a cool air mass to the Southern Interior tonight,” the department’s meteorologists warned in a public bulletin issued this morning.
“Snow levels are forecast to drop below the passes overnight and light snowfall can be expected through Wednesday morning.”
They added: “Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.”
