BC resort named one of the best new hotels in the world

A travel company has named a resort in BC as one of the best new hotels in the world.

AFAR has released their 2023 Stay List, and Klahoose Wilderness Resort is one of 15 hotels featured in it.

“Accessed via a 60-minute seaplane ride from Vancouver or 45-minute boat transfer from Lund, the resort is surrounded by more than 2,500 acres of Klahoose territory that the community has protected for centuries,” says the AFAR writers.

“Here, glacial waterfalls plummet down snow-capped mountains and evergreens border the Homfray Channel. The four lodge rooms and three cedar cabins all face the sea, where guests might glimpse humpbacks blowing at sunrise.”

Some activities that guests can take part in include grizzly bear tours, wood carving lessons, and a smudging and brushing ceremony around a fire.
