(UPDATE: July 13 @ 9:00 am) - Mounties in Campbell River have located the two teenage girls who were reported missing on Friday, July 12.
In both news releases, the RCMP stated that the girls were “safe and sound,” and that “the RCMP thanks the media and public for their assistance.”

(Original story: July 11 @ 12:50 pm) - Police are looking for two teenage girls who went missing from a small community on Vancouver Island yesterday.
According to the Campbell River RCMP, 16-year-old Dommie Malcolmson and 17-year-old Cora Potoski are believed to have driven north on Highway 19 towards Woss or Port McNeil early in the morning on July 11.
Police said they may have stopped in Sayward along the way.
They are reportedly driving a 2009 white, four door Honda Civic.
Dommie Malcolmson is described as:
• Caucasian Female;
• 16 years old;
• 5 ft 7 inches tall;
• Med build with short brown hair;
• Blue eyes.
Cora Potoski is described as:
• Caucasian Female;
• 17 years old;
• 5 ft 2 inches tall;
• Slender build with long blonde hair;
• Blue eyes.
The RCMP said that they are “very concerned for the well being” of the two young women, and are asking anyone with information to contact them 250-286-6221 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
