Police looking for man who hit 2 vehicles with an axe on Vancouver Island

Comox Valley RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a suspect vehicle after a man was seen hitting two cars with an axe this morning.

At 10 am, officers responded to two separate reports of a man damaging vehicles with an axe.

Police said it is not known what motivated the man to damage the vehicles.

The suspect vehicle is described as a blue 2013 Honda Civic with Nova Scotia plate GTC968.

If you see the vehicle, do not approach the occupant and call 911.
