Okanagan traffic stop sees 1.5M contraband cigarettes seized

Mounties in the North Okanagan have seized 1.5 million contraband cigarettes earlier this month.

A routine traffic stop in Vernon led to the discovery and seizure of the cigarettes.

On Sunday, Jan. 8, around 10 pm, an officer stopped a vehicle towing a trailer on 27th Street in Vernon and found the man was prohibited from driving.
