The first blaze was at approximately 4:30 am on Feb. 17 when crews received a report of a structure fire in the 3300 block of 28th Avenue.
Upon arrival, crews discovered an outbuilding fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly contained the fire and limited the damage.
The file has since been handed over to the RCMP.
The second blaze was at approximately 1:30 pm in the 1400 block of 39b Avenue.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire on the exterior of a detached garage with an extension into the attic.
The fire was quickly contained and the damage was limited to one structure.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, but not considered suspicious.
“In both incidents, the fire was quickly brought under control,” said Deputy Chief Alan Hofsink.
