A small wildfire near Kamloops is being held by firefighters.
The BC Wildfire Service said last night that the blaze is north of the Cinnamon Ridge Compost Facility.
Its crew members are being aided by the Kamloops Fire Department.
As of last night, the wildfire was about 3.2 hectares and being contained by 24 BC Wildfire Service firefighters.
They have named it the “Mara Hill fire.”
No buildings are threatened by the blaze.
Its cause is still under investigation.
