The internet went crazy this week for eight-year-old, Noah Young.
A video of the goalie dancing during his AAA novice game went viral and thus a star was born.
The Brampton, Ontario native is such a bit hit, the local professional hockey team gave him a call.
The Brampton Beast, which is the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, brought Young out to teach their own goalies, Zachary Fucale and Anthony D’Agostino, a few of his moves.
“You see in Noah’s dancing that he’s fast, smooth and efficient with his movements,” said Beast coach, Colin Chaulk. “I’d be crazy not to have him share some knowledge with our goalies.”
So Young came out and gave Fucale and D’Agostino a private lesson on the ice.
When asked how the Beast’s goalies did, Young said “good for first timers,” before showing them a few more pointers.
The three goalies tried a few more moves before heading to the dressing room so Young could spend a little time with the whole team.
Beast captain, Brandon Marino, thanked Young by presenting the eight-year-old with a team jersey signed by everyone on the roster.
Young isn’t draft eligible for another decade, but we certainly hope he brings his dance moves to the NHL one day.
