Penny Oleksiak becomes Canada's most decorated Olympian

The 2021 Tokyo Olympics continued on Saturday with Penny Oleksiak making Canadian history.

With Oleksiak and the swim team taking home the bronze medal in the medley relay, she became Canada's most decorated Olympian. She now has seven Olympic medals, which includes a gold medal from the 2016 Rio games.

In the race, Oleksiak, Kyle Masse, Sydney Pickrem and Maggie MacNeil finished with a time of 3:52.60. That time was good enough for a Canadian record.

Australia took the gold in the event with USA coming in second.

More to come.
