Canada is having quite the performance at the Paralympics in Beijing, and Natalie Wilkie is a big reason for that.
The Salmon Arm-based athlete secured her third medal at the games following a 2nd place finish in the women’s standing 10-kilometre cross country race. She was less than the victor of the event, who beat her 41:45 time by just 27 seconds.

At 21-years-old, Wilkie has already won six career Paralympic medals. She has two golds to her name these games, which came in the Para Nordic Skiing Women’s Standing Sprint and the Women's long-distance classic standing.
In addition to Wilkie, Canada's most decorated Paralympian took home another gold medal at his final games.
Brian McKeever won his 16th career gold at the games and his 20th career medal. It came in the Men's visually impaired middle distance.

More to come.
