The Kamloops Blazers will give a hometown kid a shot this weekend after calling up 15-year-old Logan Stankoven.
Stankoven, who was born in the loops, was selected fifth overall in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. He currently leads the B.C. Major Midget League in scoring with ten goals and 16 points in eight games this season.
Stankoven will make his Blazers debut on October 19th, the same night the team honours Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee Mark Recchi.
