Snowfall warning ended for the Coquihalla

An overnight snowfall warning for the Coquihalla has ended.

The snow may have stopped, but the road conditions remain poor at the road’s highest elevations.

Webcam images near the summit show the highway completely covered in snow and below average visibility as well.

If you need to use the Coquihalla over the next couple of days, Monday may be your best option as the precipitation and lower temperatures are expected to come back in the next 24 hours.

It will likely begin falling again on Monday evening and continue into Tuesday, with the snowy conditions continuing throughout the week.

As for other Interior highways, the Connector has some snow on the road but conditions don’t appear to be too bad.

Meanwhile, Highway 5 between Merritt and Kamloops, Highway 6, Highway 33, Highway 97, Highway 97A and Highway 3 are all boasting bare roads.
