“A Pacific frontal system will continue to impact southern BC today,” the department’s meteorologist explained in their warning bulletin.
“Periods of heavy snow will persist through this afternoon, and ease by early evening.”
The warning adds that drivers should expect the possibility of delays.
“Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve,” the bulletin reads. “If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.”
