Up to 20 centimetres of the white stuff is expected on two Interior highways tonight.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Coquihalla and Hwy 3.
The agency said the snow will fall tonight and early on Saturday morning.
It’s expected to ease by midday, however, with the snowfall turning into flurries.
“Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult,” Environment Canada warned.
“Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.”
The agency said the snowfall will be a result of a frontal system expected to move onshore tonight.
A separate warning has been issued for the South Coast, with heavy snow expected there this evening.
