The Mckinney Nordic Ski Club is going public after three thefts in three weeks from its donation box.
A non-profit organization located near Oliver, B.C., the ski club’s snowcat “Grumpy” was also hit by thieves who stole the vehicle’s battery along with 15 gallons of gas, plus a box containing top-up oil, anti-freeze and brake fluid.
The club had reported the previous thefts and installed a better locking system, but wants the public’s help with reporting any suspicious activity in the parking lot.
Groomer Al from called Mckinney Nordic Ski Club called the thefts “frustrating and costly.”
