Drive BC is urging drivers to use caution while proceeding through the area and to watch for crews. Delays are to be expected.

A mudslide has caused the closure of Highway 97 near Cache Creek Tuesday evening.
Drive BC confirmed that the highway is closed in both directions at Loon Lake Road, which is approximately 20 kilometres north of Cache Creek.
Initially, Drive BC identified the incident as "a possible wash out," but has since updated the traffic obstruction as a mudslide.
There is currently no detour available and Drive BC is conducting an assessment at this time but has not determined a time of opening.
