“Gainey has been an active member of our recruitment and coaching staff for quite some time and we are thrilled to have him lead our team to what is shaping up to be an incredible group of young men for the 2019/2020 season,” said Kolle. “Gainey has been an integral part of our organization. He’s been watching players and analyzing them and we have always admired how he interacts, coaches and molds young players."

Jassi Sangha, Andrew Fisher, and Cody Lockwood will all remain with the club as assistants. Peter Friedel is set to return to the team as a trainer.

The Storm begins their preseason on August 29th at MacArthur Island against the Sicamous Eagles.
